The word ‘chance’ can take on so many different meanings that they cancel each other out, leaving behind nothing but an empty space. Kurt Demey and Joris Vanvinckenroye attempt to challenge chance in Unknown Evidences, hoping to catch a glimpse of its existence. A crossover of theatre, music, and mentalism in which chance accumulates into memorable experiences, and where the audience holds the mentalism in its own hands. This performance is the final part of the trilogy: Gehoornde man/La ville qui respire/Unknown Evidences. “Mouths open in amazement. Cries of astonishment. Eyes filled with emotion. A standing ovation. In Unknown Evidences, Rode Boom lets everything be left to chance,” - Liv Laveyne –
