What if one small choice changes everything? In What Did You Expect? choreographer Christian Ubl and mentalist Kurt Demey explore how chance, movement and human decisions trigger unexpected chains of reaction.

Inspired by chaos theory and the butterfly effect, they create a universe where seemingly small events evolve into absurd, poetic, or disruptive situations. On stage, the boundaries between dance and mentalism fade.

Who is manipulating whom? What is chance, and what is not? And where does the cause of what we observe truly begin? .

The performance unfolds like a living chain reaction in which bodies, objects, words and choices continuously influence one another.
The audience is actively involved in a playful and mysterious experience in which logic gradually gives way to wonder.

Following the success of Garden of Chance, Christian Ubl and Kurt Demey once again join forces to create a visual, physical and surprising performance in which contemporary dance, circus, participation and mentalism merge into a unique theatrical experience.
