You may already have seen our life-sized elephant on the highway, galloping along at 90 kilometres an hour. Maybe you even caught a glimpse of his tail wagging through the bushes. And now you can find him at festivals: Tembo, the life-sized savannah elephant. Be warned! Strange things seem to happen around this animal. Did steam just come out of his backside? Were those really two slippers dangling from his belly? And why does a little light glow inside his head at night? Some whisper that a little girl lives inside his belly. Others believe the creature is part of the Great Disappearing Act of a down-at-heel magician. Don’t believe everything you hear, come and see for yourself. But please, wipe your feet before entering! Tembo is a living statue, but also hosts short family performances full of stories, always with a touch of magic.
